Inès Britel

Back in 2017, I decided to venture into the world of blogging. I created In Medias Artes, a blog on which I shared my travels, the books I read, works of art I loved, exhibitions I visited. As I was studying in France, my articles were in French. I then switched to English, and today I realize that IMA has lost its identity.

After much pondering, I decided to give my blogging experience a fresh start.

My name is Ines, and I am the founder and author of The Art Jumble. I am originally from Paris, France. After completing a bachelor in Art History in Paris, I moved to London to complete a degree in Art Business.

My interests that pertain to the art world are varied. Throughout my studies, I have developed a burning passion for XX century art that I carry in everything I see. But this passion has also aroused interest for different subjects notably women artists from the XX century to today’s emerging artists. Moreover, my MA dissertation deals with the Moroccan and Egyptian Art Markets and my research has triggered a huge interest in North-African Modern and Contemporary Art. Lastly, as I am also a bookworm and I will try and share my literary crush.

Today, my aim is to convey to you, dear readers, my passion for these subjects in an attempt to make you discover my perspective on the art-world.

Yours sincerely,
